About Us.
Established in 2015 and headquartered in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area, The Reed Monroe Company has been dedicated to delivering world-class customer service to Northern California. Our journey began when the founders recognized the prevalence of poor customer service and a lack of pride and compassion in various industries. Determined to make a difference, we set out to create a curated network of vetted and highly recommended professionals, striving to provide a level of customer service and peace of mind that sets us apart in the minds of our valued customers.
At The Reed Monroe Company, we firmly believe that nothing can replace the value of a pleasurable experience, be it in tech-related needs, carpentry, hospitality, chauffeur services, or logistics. Our unwavering focus is on providing an unparalleled customer-first experience. To demonstrate our commitment, all our carpentry and hospitality work is backed by a free warranty, and our services come with a money-back satisfaction guarantee.
Founder:
D'Angelo Reed's journey in the professional world began at an early age, seizing his first credited opportunity as an instructor at The Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) in San Francisco, CA. While still attending high school, he taught basic and intermediate computer skills to high school students and young adults aged 17-25. His passion for hands-on work and problem-solving led him to seek new challenges, and after three years of working with computer programs, he decided to venture into carpentry.
Driven by a desire to expand his knowledge and skills, D'Angelo pursued carpentry, earning his carpenter's certificate. He soon found himself at Walden House Inc. as a carpenter, where he played a pivotal role in building housing units on Treasure Island for their in-house rehab program. Over the course of three years, his dedication to craftsmanship and love for driving steered him into the transportation industry. D'Angelo began chauffeuring private clients throughout the Bay Area and also took on package delivery responsibilities.
Further exploring the shipping industry, he worked at Amazon Logistics and San Francisco International Airport in their shipping management department, gaining valuable insights into the logistics realm. After a brief hiatus, he returned to the tech industry and spent three and a half years at Airtable, honing his skills in that domain.
Drawing from his diverse experiences, skills, and connections acquired over the years, D'Angelo recognized an opportunity to establish a unique, customer-centric business. Motivated by his passion for providing exceptional service and utilizing his versatile background, he embarked on creating a one-of-a-kind venture that would leverage his expertise and cater to the needs of discerning customers.
